A Supermarket in Westbury Montréal!
At the heart of any neighborhood are the businesses that bring not only services, but vitaly and life to the area. With a vision of quality community living, Westbury Montreal is thrilled to announce today that Supermarché PA, a Montreal leader in independent grocery stores, will be opening before the end of the year. They will be bringing their independent full-service grocery store to serve the residents of the project and the surrounding area.
From a small grocery store in 1989 to this 5th location, Supermarché PA is an independent grocer that strives to provide excellent customer service while retaining the charm of an independent grocer, all at affordable prices. The 17,000 sq.ft. store will be a full-service grocery store with fresh produce, meat and dairy, along with all the pantry staples our residents might need. They will also offer a large array of ready-to-eat meals catering to busy condo dwellers. With free indoor parking, Supermarché PA will also be a welcomed addition to all those who live near the new Westbury complex.
Construction will begin shortly, with the hopes of serving the community before the end of the year. This is the first of several new retailers and services that will open in the commercial portion of Westbury Montreal. We look forward to more announcements soon.
Forno West Bakery and Pastry shop
Westbury Montréal is pleased to announce the opening of Forno West Bakery and Pastry shop in our development by the end of 2020.
Forno West will be offering savoury Italian baked goods, Sicilian desserts, cookies, cakes, as well as ready-to-eat meals and catering services to our residents and the surrounding neighbourhood.
Leo Calderone, one of Forno West’s founders and master baker, will bring many of the popular recipes from Montréal’s famous bakery San Pietro, a family business founded by his dad Pietro in 1979. Leo brings all of his ”know how” talent and recipes of baked goods and Sicilian desserts to Forno West Bakery.
When entering Forno West, the scent of fresh baked bread and pizzas along with Leo’s famous Sicilian cannoli desserts and the surrounding decor will make you will feel as if you set foot into Italy‘s most famous piazzas.
We welcome Forno West as one of our solid and proven retailers and we are confident that they will be the go to place for Westbury and all the surrounding areas such as Hampstead, Côte-Saint-Luc, Town of Mount Royal, Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, etc.
A 40 000 sq.ft. central park in the heart of the project
A huge central park surrounded by greenery will serve as an anchor for the Westbury Montréal project. Accessible only steps away from your home, this relaxing oasis is the ideal place to rest and take a break.
Several parks are also located nearby where you can indulge in your favorite sports (baseball, soccer) as well as water games, located just minutes away, which will allow your children to cool off and enjoy the summer.
Experience the local rhythm
Stroll through a park. Strike up a conversation with local merchants. Make friends with your neighbours. Sit on the terrace of a charming little bistro. That’s how you experience a neighborhood!
And that’s precisely what you’ll find in the Westbury Montréal Urban District, just steps from your door – a food market, lively cafes, a pharmacy, restaurants and other businesses that make the day-to-day easier.
The proximity of schools, a plus for your family!
One of the things that make Westbury Montréal an ideal neighborhood for families is its proximity to schools. There are more than a dozen within a radius of four kilometers around the project, not to mention the Université de Montréal and HEC Montréal, located just over two kilometers away.
In addition, the proximity to major hospitals including Ste-Justine Hospital, Jewish General Hospital and St. Mary’s, offers peace and quiet to homeowners and their families.
